The third step to Vendor Financing - WRAPPING A HOUSE

Step 3 to Vendor Financing where you go through the process of Wrapping a House.

Now that you have decided on the house that you want to buy, let’s get it ready for wrapping.

Here’s how you wrap a house.

  1. Find a wrappee - the person you are on-selling the house to. You can find a wrappee or buyer by advertising for a person who cannot get a bank loan or has not enough deposit to go to a bank or has a mark on their credit report. Just go to to get your Free credit report.

  2. Once you find a wrappee, check their credit report and their employment history. Check their bank statements and pay slips. This is when you can determine if they can afford the payments for the home.

  3. The solicitor of the Wrapper or Vendor, that is you, will prepare the documents for the wrappee which contains all the payments and conditions. On page 23 in The Aussie Wrappers Complete Guide you will find all this information which you can purchase online on

  4. Your solicitor then sends the Instalment Contract this is what the contract is called using Vendor Finance to the wrappee’s solicitor.

  5. The rates, water and Insurance are also worked out by the wrappers solicitor.
